How are responsibilities split up in public policy? ● The responsibilities in public policy are split up through the different branches of government ● For example the Legislative makes any laws or rules for the policy, the Executive branch carries all the rules and laws out and then the Judicial deals with all the people who disobey the rules and laws of the policy. ● The branches also work together to make the policy and address it issues ● The Legislative will make certain laws or rules when the policy is being made to help carry it out and it be taken as well as possible by the people ● The Judicial helps protect by making sure nobody disobeys the policy ● And the executive does most the actual addressing of the policy because the president is in this branch and he does a lot of talking about the policies and carrying them out

The Resources ● The Executive branch has the most vital resource which is a lot of air time, this gives the president time and publicity to talk about and explain the policy on multiple different occasions and is able to keep updating the people on the occurring situations throughout the policy ● The Legislative has the power to make changes to the policy ● The Judicial is able to enforce it and punish people who go against or don’t support the policy

How do non-government groups affect Public Policy? ● How do individuals and non-government groups affect public policy? ● Well the citizens opinion in a public policy is huge because we are a democracy which allows the people to decide on issues ● And non-government groups try to influence people which is what you want to do when you are trying to get something to go your way in politics. ● Now the government has a responsibility to listen to the public because we are a democracy and thats how things are run the government for the most part should not decide major things without asking or addressing the public. ● Now does this mean they always can’t make their own calls? No. They can if need be for example when the Bombing on Pearl Harbor happened FDR declared war on Japan the next day even though the policy in the 20 years prior was isolationism.
