One day, when a boy was wandering on the pavement, he spotted something glittering by accident. After staring at it for a long time, he found that it was a diamond ring. Then he picked it up and decided to keep it. Back home, when his mother saw it, she was surprised and asked her son to account for it. Thinking that his mother would be happy to hear that, the boy told his mother excitedly that he found it on the pavement. But on the contrary, his mother was not happy. Instead, she didn’t permit him to keep it. At first, the boy was reluctant because he didn’t think it was his fault. Finally, with patience, his mother persuaded him to take it to the police station.
