Temporary/Task Teams When work is urgent temporary teams may be established, e. g. the London Bombings 2005 over 10, 000 police were involved. The fulfilment of tasks is more important than team spirit.

Types of teamwork activities n Paper-based exercises n Activity based n Work related team activity
Paper-based exercises n n Planning for something that will be practiced or carried out at a later date e. g. disaster, logistics (transport and supply), could be planning an expedition. Planning an Orienteering lesson, planning to present a podcast, to present a press conference etc.
Activity Based n n n e. g. physical training activities, team-building exercises, active problem solving, realistic simulations, military/emergency exercises; use activities done on Army Week Army Activity Day RAF Personal Development Day Caving
Work Related Team Activity n e. g. achieving work objectives e. g. cutting someone out of a car at an RTC, planning and achieving a project. Driving Course
Guidance n n Use the Harvard Referencing system. If you include a direct quote it must be identified using quotation marks. The submission of plagiarised work will lead to failure of the merit and disciplinary action.
