Folkways Norms that describe socially acceptable behavior but do not have great moral significance attached to them. Common customs of everyday life.
Mores (MAWR-ayz) Have great moral significance Violation of mores endangers society’s well being and stability. (Laws help to protect us from violating mores)
Culture Trait An individual tool, act, or belief that is related to a particular situation or need.
Culture Complexes Individual culture traits combine to form culture complexes.
Cultural Patterns Cultural complexes combine to form cultural patterns.
