Unit Aim The aim of this unit is to enable learners to: § Understand the components of computer systems and § Develop the skills needed to recommend appropriate systems for business purposes and § Set up and maintain computer systems.

Learning outcomes On completion of this unit a learner should: 1 Understand the components of computer systems 2 Be able to recommend computer systems for a business purpose 3 Be able to set up and maintain computer systems.
