City-Centred Regions New York and Rio de Janeiro may look very similar when looking at just one picture, but they are indeed different. City-Centred Regions: - areas in and around a city that have an interdependent relationship

City-Centred Regions Ex. Toronto is the main area in Southern Ontario with the surrounding areas such as Oakville and Oshawa that are interdependent making the area a citycentred region City-centred regions are built through transportation systems and routes that often include airplane traffic, trains, street cars, roads, bridges, etc.

City-Centred Regions Infrastructure: - is the basic physical and organizational structures needed for the operation of a society or enterprise, or the services and facilities necessary for an economy to function - which also includes accommodations and other services used to provide access to sites and tourist attractions
