Indirect Question n As a statement can, so a question can be indirect. n Indirect question can be introduced by the same verbs as indirect statement as well as verbs of “asking”. n Unlike indirect statement, indirect question is only in one form.
Indirect Question n Greek indirect question is only in the form of an interrogative word and a finite verb. – main clause w/ verb of asking, thinking, saying, feeling, hearing, etc. – interrogative word – subordinate finite verb
Indirect Question n Indirect question follows the sequence of moods like the indirect statements with ὅτι or ὡς. n The interrogative word will usually be an indefinite relative form.
