THE PURPOSE AND ‘CLIENT’ REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING HARDWARE IN A TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM. • The purpose of installing and maintaining hardware in a technology system is to keep it up to date with all the latest components of the computer and to make the computer run faster and be able to help the person complete tasks • • The client requirements for installing and maintaining hardware in a technology system: Produce a large amount documents such as spreadsheets and word processors. Get records of a customer that is with in the companies database You need printer access A large amount of storage to sore your files Able to run and edit videos and pictures Make sure there is sound for websites and presentation purposes
A LIST OF INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES • Take out the old hard drive and put in the new ssd • Add an extra 2 gb of ram • Install windows • Take out the old optical drive and put the new one in after you have put in the ssd

HOW THE MODIFIED TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM IS SUITABLE FOR THE PURPOSE AND THE ORIGINAL REQUIREMENTS It is suitable with the purpose because I have updated what I needed to, to the latest versions of that certain components. For the original requirements it is suitable because now it has internet access, now it can connect to a printer, which means that from the computer I would be able to produce loads of spreadsheet and word processor documents. Also with the computer being connected to the internet you would be able to access records of customers of the company. With the new SSD Drive in the computer loads of stuff would be able to be stored in it for examples videos and pictures that you may need to edit or word and spreadsheet documents. Sound for the website and Power. Point purposes should also worked as it worked when I tried it.
