Linkages between CCA and DRR • DRR is directly linked to discussions on two of the nine work areas of the NWP: climate-related risks and extreme events; adaptation planning and practices • The successful collaboration between the FCCC Secretariat and the UN/ISDR on the organisation of the NWP technical workshop is an encouraging first step in formalizing the integration of work carried out by CCA and DRR communities.
