Track 1: Disaster risk management grants (single country) SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES • To provide access to financing for new investments in disaster risk management • To develop new policies/strategies/plans for disaster risk management • To generate evidence and knowledge on effective disaster and climate resilience for improved policy and practice
Track 1: Target - National level civil protection authority (or relevant competent authority) of Participating States - Possibilities for entities having a legal/capital link with NCP to participate as “affiliated entities”
Track 1: Eligible activities 1. Multi-risk or risk-specific disaster risk management plan 2. National/sub-national investment plan (based on the results of a risk assessment) 3. Feasibility study and/or assessment required for the preparation of structural prevention measures 4. Proposal for an investment project addressing disaster risk management or climate change adaptation
