Instructions – Speed Competencies! § You will need to be in pairs labelled A

Instructions – Speed Competencies! § You will need to be in pairs labelled A and B. § Sit in two long rows. All A’s on one side and all B’s sitting opposite them. § Partner A must spend 2 minutes telling Partner B about how and when they have shown one of the 5 competencies. Partner B gives feedback (see next slide). § Then partner B will talk about when they have shown a competency with another 2 minutes on the clock. Partner A gives feedback. § Once 4 minutes is up partner B will then move one seat to their left; partner A will remain seated. § With your next partner you need to talk about a difference competency. After 5 rounds you will have done all 5 competencies. You should do this until you have see 10 people or everyone in the room. Don’t forget to write notes about what others tell you!

Instructions When you are listening about someone’s competency example you should try to give

Instructions When you are listening about someone’s competency example you should try to give feedback once they have finished speaking. § § What is relevant about their example? Does it show them in a great light? Can they improve anything when talking about their example? Did they focus too much on unnecessary detail? When you are speaking, write the feedback down that you receive. Once you have finished all 5 competencies you will be able to repeat them. You can either choose to use new examples or improve on your existing 5 by using the feedback you have been given.

Your competencies Using the feedback from the speed competencies task, write down your best

Your competencies Using the feedback from the speed competencies task, write down your best example of when you have shown each of the 5 competencies. Use Unifrog’s competencies tool to do this. Make sure you write succinctly. Challenge! Come up with a second example for each competency as well. Write down examples of times when you have shown other valuable attributes. These could include good time-management, creativity, problem solving and lots more!
