Project Overview and Implementation Structure (2/2) One Scene of Policy Dialogue We had series of policy dialogues for 15 sectors between cross sectoral ministries and development partners in 2009 to formulate a comprehensive “Policy Matrix” for climate change actions in Vietnam. JICA Ministry AFD Ministry UNDP Ministry Denmark … Donor NGO NGO … • Numbers of Policy Dialogues between ministries and donors: 2 weeks x 4 times • Numbers of Donors Meetings: 10 days x once • Hours of Policy Dialogue: 1 -3 hours/sector -> All policy dialogues are open and transparent for all concerned stakeholders.

V develops a policy framework to promote the development of commercial renewable energy and energy efficiency and conservation. Summary

V will improve regulations to attract more investment on and facilitate formulation of CDM projects.

V has restored forest cover gradually, at the same time, they have been strengthening Mangrove forest system and biodiversity conservation.

Various Participation ways to the Program (some donors provide financial support, others provide technical and knowledge inputs for policy actions. ) 4. ->SP-RCC is to serve as a “Platform” for policy dialogue and aid harmonization to respond to climate change in Vietnam that can foster and scale-up existing initiatives and programs as well as allow to develop new tools.
