Form Teacher This is the teacher who has overall responsibility for your class. If you have a problem or are unsure of something you can talk to your form teacher. They are there to help you. Each class has their own form teacher. Next

A timetable tells you… what subjects you have and on which day Days of the week The first set of letters tell you which class you are going to have. The subjects names have been abbreviated. Next

A timetable tells you… how many classes or periods you will have each day The numbers down the side, tell you how many classes or periods you will have each day. Some timetables will also have the time classes or periods start and end. Next

A timetable tells you… who the teacher is The two letters in the centre are the initials of the teacher taking the subject. Next

A timetable tells you… where the class takes place The letter and number at the end tell you where the class takes place e. g. R 8 = Room 8 M 4 = Mobile 4 CS 1 = Computer Suite 1 Gym = PE Hall/Assembly Hall Next

Get Organised by… Colour coding your timetable using highlighters, colouring pencils etc. This lets you know at a glance what subjects you have each day. It is also a good way to help you organise the books and equipment you need for each subject. Next
