Class Reps Elections 2019 What do Class Reps do? • Class reps are elected by their class to represent them on academic issues relating to their program. • They work with lecturers on giving feedback both to and from the students to improve the overall academic experience. • They gather their classmates opinions on what is important to their learning experience. • They attend student-staff forums that focuses on: – how students learn in UL – what works, what doesn’t – suggest improvements – report back to their classmates

Class Reps Elections 2019 Why would you become a Class Rep… • The opportunity to: become a leader; a communicator; take responsibility; know more about what is going on in UL and UL Student Life. • You will be receive NSt. EP training on how to be an effective class rep. • You will get to know everyone in your class and they will know you. • All hours used while working as a class rep go towards your PVA. • It looks good on your CV

Class Reps Elections 2019 How to become a Class Rep. • Pick up an application form from Students Life Reception. • Get 10 signatures from your classmates. • Return the completed form to the Student Life Reception ASAP.
