Opportunity The organisation launched on 1 January 2017 following the requirement in the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review to establish a single provider of government National Security Vetting Services. It brought together the well respected vetting organisations of the Defence The Role Business Services National Security Vetting, and Foreign and Commonwealth Services National Security Vetting. On 1 April 2020, UKSV transitioned into the Cabinet Office to be at the centre The Person of UK security by joining the Government Security Group (GSG). UKSV has a mandate to establish a single vetting database, portable vetting and standardised pricing across government. About Benefits The Role Description The Risk and Audit Coordinator will focus on supporting the Risk, Audit and Business Continuity functions within the Resource and Assurance team. This is an interesting and varied role requiring engagement with staff from different grades across all areas of the business. As a Risk and Audit Coordinator, The Process The Person The Role Opportunity your responsibilities will include: • Running and reviewing the Casework Management System audit programme, highlighting any issues with relevant stakeholders • Auditing Travel and Subsistence claims, producing reports on these audits and reviewing the relevant policy • Maintaining the Risk Review schedule and organising meetings with stakeholders • Monitoring outstanding Risk Review activities and providing progress reports • Maintaining key documents and providing management information for the UKSV Senior Leadership Team • Supporting coordination of Business Continuity information, collating up-to-date contact lists for critical staff and Crisis Management Team members • Acting as deputy for the UKSV Business Continuity representative, and supporting planned exercises and reviews. • Liaising and maintaining good working relationships with teams and stakeholders
