Why Have an Approved Products List • The main purpose of the APL is to assist construction projects by minimizing the repetitive paperwork process • This would also make available a list of products meeting UDOT standard specifications for use department wide as applicable 3

Admin. Code R 307 -361 (VOC Requirements) This requirement went into effect on October 1, 2016: �Utah Admin Code R 307 -361, Architectural Coatings �Counties within Utah that are affected by the Utah Administrative Code are as follows: Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah, and Weber Counties. 7

Approved Products Panel (APP) • APP meetings are held quarterly • Panel members review the manufacturers submitted documentation for the applicable specification under which the product was submitted 11

What Happens After Four Years �The renewal process is the same process as the original product submittal �Fill out the R-52 Form and attach current independent lab testing results, along with the manufacturers data sheets �Submit all documentation to the APL Coordinator 14
