UC Suite Menu Bar NEC Confidential
UC Suite Menu Bar Contacts give you access to three databases: • Company – a list of all extensions • Business – a list of shared speed dials • Personal – a private list of speed dials All three can be accessed from the “Call” button on the toolbar. Home gives you access to your buddy lists and the ability to modify your buddy list members. Multiple buddy lists require and Advanced or Premium license. UC Suite Menu Bar Call history shows you a list of incoming and outgoing called numbers. Incoming calls are split between answered and missed calls. Each number is a hyperlink so you can click on it to call the party. NEC Confidential Chats shows you a list of all the users you have had a recent chat with. Each persons name is a hyperlink so you can click on it to view the chats you have had with that person.
UC Suite Toolbar The Toolbar gives you quick access to telephony features. To add/remove tool buttons click on your extension in the upper right -> Settings -> Telephony. NEC Confidential
UC Suite Search Bar Search bar The Search bar allows you to filter buddy list members by name or extension. It’s very helpful when you have a very large buddy list and members are off screen. NEC Confidential
UC Suite Buddy Phone Icon Buddy List A phone on hook. A phone off hook. Click on the phone icon to access their extension, direct access to voicemail or their alternate numbers. Note: If you are on a call clicking on any of those numbers will begin a transfer. NEC Confidential A phone in Do Not Disturb A phone forwarded.
UC Suite Other Buddy Icons Quick access to a MAPI enabled email client. Chat with another user. NEC Confidential Video chat with another user. Requires an advanced or premium license.
UC Suite Incoming Call An incoming call will appear on your home screen. You have the option to click answer, send the call to voicemail*, or ignore it. * Calls for the contact center will not go to voicemail If your browser is configured to allow pop ups, you will also get a taskbar notification. Clicking on the notification will bring up the home screen if the browser window is minimized. This is a quick way to get back to your UC window when working in other applications. NEC Confidential
UC Suite Presence Changing your presence: • Use your MS Outlook client calendar to automatically change your presence. • Click on your profile picture. • Click on your login ID and click the current presence. Hover another users name to get detail regarding their current presence. Time saving note: Create a presence profile for frequently used presence statuses. A profile will change your presence, phone forwarding, and control your presence note. Quick presence view. NEC Confidential
