The PS-MAS offers more than 4, 200 experienced contractors to provide a range of commercial services at a competitive rate 7

Use of Purchase Cards for Contract Payments PROCUREMENT VS PAYMENT MECHANISM (FAR 13. 301) The purchase card can be used in three ways, depending on the value of the transaction and the authority of the cardholder. Procurement Mechanism Ordering Mechanism Payment Mechanism 8

Use of the Purchase Card for Contract Payments At or below the micro-purchase thresholds ● cardholders may use their cards as procurement, ordering, and payment mechanisms within their single and monthly transaction limits. Over the micro-purchase thresholds ● Authorized in the basic contract terms and conditions (ORDERING MECHANISM) ● Accepted as a form of payment (PAYMENT MECHANISM). ● Please remember that both the Contracting Officer / Ordering Officer authority limits and cardholder limits apply. ● Check your agency regulations and policies when using the card. 9
