Characteristics of Pre-Primary Stage • Pre-Primary stage is not the stage formal education • Literacy should not be concerned at this level though children are prepared for elementary schools • Learning is characterized by group activities • Play way technique and language or Number games are followed to teach • Attainment of Physical, Mental and Emotional maturity

Aims and Objectives at Pre-Primary Level Training • To Prepare Teachers for helping Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional, Aesthetic and Linguistic Development by means of individual and group activities • To Impart them relevant knowledge of child psychology and child’s environment • To provide basics of cultural anthropology, Sociology, Indian cultural heritage • To enable teachers for obtaining parental cooperation
