Shopping Rush – Place holder name You start in a shopping centre and have

Shopping Rush – Place holder name You start in a shopping centre and have to go around buying the items on your shopping list The shopping centre will have two levels the ground floor and an upstairs, the floors will have loads of different shops on them filled with items that could be on your list. The models will be all low poly and use maya built in texturing system. Mechanics: I plan to have at least two levels, a tutorial and a main level. In the tutorial is where you will learn the mechanics for the game; jumping, running, crouching and picking up/dropping items. You will also enter a photo booth in the tutorial to create your characters appearance. You will be able to customise things like hair, eyes, t-shirt, trousers and shoes. The item you pick up will not be put into any inventory or hand but instead will be picked up using your mind powers and carried to a shopping basket near the entrance to the centre. Story thus far – Subject to change You are in the middle of a mid life crisis, you just got robbed! The time is 8 pm when you realise this because you have been at the Poundland where you work for the majority of the day. Instead of waiting for the next day or calling the police like a normal person you decide to go to the local shopping centre to try buy back the items lost before everything closes. Since the shopping centre is closing soon you will only have limited time to pick up the items you need.

In the first week the main focus will be on planning. The week after will be dedicated to setting up the trello and unity as well as making the concept art and finishing off any planning needed to be done. On week three production will begin If finished ahead of schedule another level will be developed with the same arrangement of shops but harder difficulty for instance escalators or lift broken and more items to collect. AI characters will walk around randomly and be an annoyance to the player. If harder levels are developed more people can be added and crowds of people could be confined to shops to slow down the players progress.
