Executive Summary § We consult with face to face tutors to customize and create e-tutoring platforms to meet their needs. § We use the lasted free applications and social networks to create learning environments that are flexible, effective and that expand the market presence marketability of a tutor.

Executive Summary § Offering tutors the pedagogical and technical expertise to make the best of the free software and applications that exist. (Skype, Wordpress, Twitter, Ning, Google, Odijoo…. ) § We increase the availability of tutors to their clients and show them how they can expand beyond traditional boundaries.

Executive Summary § We charge a consulting fee for the initial set up and we offer continued support through seminars and learning experience that help tutors become online teachers. § We offer custom individual packages that help the math and English tutor alike.

Who we are § I am a candidate for a master of educational technology through UBC. § I bring theoretical and practical knowledge needed to establish learning networks that meet the needs of students and tutors.

Our Plan § We consult with tutors and found out what they need: Flexibility, Accountability, Diversity, Expansion, Low Cost, and Support. § We provide these through free applications and software, continued support, customized systems and the knowledge of how to make them affective.

How we grow § We increase the number of tutors setting up networks for their learners. § We set up seminars to train others in how to help set up their own networks and gain clients that want our expertise to help them § We visit other markets and set up new locations in major cities through physical seminars and virtual seminars. § We offer lessons we know work for a minimal price, or people can subscribe to our lesson feeds for their students.

Our strengths § We have low overhead and startup costs, no debt means we grow right away. § We have the ability to grow quickly. § We learn and network through our clients brining in new business. § We have the expertise to implement and support our services.

Challenges we face § We use free software and applications, someone with the same level of expertise could offer the same services. § We need to prove we can help the tutors meet the needs of their students § We need to expand after we prove our success, need to find qualified consultants and trainers.
