BRU Horizontal Screens • Used for applications such as sizing, separation and dewatering • Used in the coal, gravel, sand mineral industries • Available in single, double and triple deck configuration • Various screen panels options • (poly, wedge wire, plate) • Single or Dual exciter 900 -980 RPM
BRU Banana Screens • Used for applications such as sizing, separation & media recovery • Various screen panels options (poly, wedge wire, plate) • Size up to 4. 2 m wide x 9. 15 m long • Increased capacity (by 50%) due to early stratification & reduced bed depth • High G Force provided for increased capacity
Benefits of BRU Screens • Anti-abrasion, rubber lined cross beams • Cross beams made from UC section, no bolt holes ensuring no liquid can enter • Stringers are bolted not welded onto brackets allowing quick replacement • All welded components are fully stress relieved • Feedbox is designed to be an integral part of the screen, eliminating the ‘cantilever’ effect of a bolt-on feed box
VSW High Frequency Screens • Used for applications such as dewatering of fine coal or mineral ores • Inclined linear motion • Capacity up to 60 - 70 tph of fine material • Suitable to use poly or wedge wire panels • Operates at high frequency of approx 1430 RPM
UHS Medium to High Frequency Dewatering Screens • Used for applications such as dewatering of fine coal, trash removal, loaded carbon recovery and general slurry process • Horizontal linear motion • Can be supplied at medium or high frequency (970 RPM or 1430 RPM)
LTV Screens • Quietest performance • Clip-on deck system with no sub-frame • Fully Huck-bolted construction • Screens are lighter which reduces the support steelwork and electrical supply required
Circular Motion Screens • CA – standard duty circular motion screens using spring loaded counterweights instead of motors • CB – heavy duty circular motion screens which are used in harder applications such as hard rock and use spring loaded counterweight mechanisms rather than motors
UF Pan Feeders • Electro-mechanical drive with out-of-balance motors which are self-synchronising to provide linear motion • Nominally 10 mm stroke which prevents build-up of material on the feeder pan • Can be foot mounted or cable suspended
Grizzly Feeders • Driven by ‘HE’ series gearboxes from our BRU screen range • Counter-rotating flywheels provide linear motion • Grizzly bars manufactured to client specifications from high wear resistant materials such as Bisalloy 500 (quenched and tempered steel) or Domite capping (a laminated, abrasion resistant wear product at 200 BHN)

Process Equipment Reflux Classifier (RC) Ludowici RC Technology offers the latest in fine particle Beneficiation. Our Reflux Classifier, used in coal and minerals processing is a fluidised bed separator incorporating a lamella settler and autogenous dense-medium separator. It comprises inclined lamellar channels that deliver superior hydraulics compared to conventional technologies.

Screen Media Types Media Type – Wedge Wire [aka Profile Wire]: • Stainless steel wire, 304 and 316 typ • Excellent open area • High efficiency of operating screens • Used mostly for fine apertures [< 1 mm typ] • Rigid, inflexible. Modular or clamped.
Polyurethane Modular System Advantages • Versatility of polyurethane permits design of tailor made, fit for purpose applications for any unique site specific conditions. • Exotic apertures, exotic polymers, special panel designs and attachments impossible to incorporate with any other media or fixture methods are possible. • Overall, significantly cheaper total cost of screening than metallic media [in terms of $ / tonne]
Polyurethane Modular Systems - General • Modular screening systems have enjoyed much success in the mining industry for the last decade. • Large, cumbersome, cross tensioned steel wire screen mats have been replaced with smaller, easier to install panels made from steel reinforced abrasion resistant polyurethane.
Polyurethane Modular System Advantages • Installation requires no special skills or tools • Panels are lighter and smaller, therefore faster and safer to install. • Polyurethane’s abrasion resistance gives at least 5 - 7 times increase in wear life over crimped wire • Better plant availability and utilisation • Flat deck gives better distribution of feed than cross tension, better use of screen deck, better screening
Modular Systems - General • Panels are usually 2’x 1’ or 1’x 1’ • Made from polyurethane with internal steel reinforcement • Usually use interference fit type locking, either pins or rails.

Modular Systems – Ludowici’ patented Ludodeck PIPO Two • An intermediate rail type system • Two components, panel and the rail [other systems have more components] • Panels have female sockets, lock onto the rail male • Remove via mallet / screwdriver
Modular Systems – Ludodeck PIPO Two Advantages • Once rail installed, Ludodeck PIPO Two has less consumable components than other systems[no pins to carry stock or get lost in sumps]. • Poly – Poly grip, stronger than pin type systems. Robust design panels • Screen steel is protected, holes don’t get ‘out of round’
Modular Systems – Ludodeck PIPO Two [Panel Removal] • Once the intermediate rail is installed, panel removal requires no special skills, training or tools • Able to be undertaken by any site personnel • Remove via mallet and screwdriver
