WCHS Sixth Form Entry Criteria Minimum entry requirements GCSE grade 6 (IGCSE B) or above in English Language (or English Literature) and Mathematics. GCSE grade 6 or above in the subject (or related subject) they wish to study, with exceptions in Computer Science, Mathematics and the Sciences: A level Mathematics applicants need to have GCSE grade 7 (IGCSE A) or above in Mathematics. A Level Further Mathematics applicants need to have GCSE grade 8 or 9 (IGCSE A*) in Mathematics Applicants wishing to study A levels in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics must have studied Triple Science for GCSE and achieved Grade 7 (IGCSE A) or above in their chosen science subject. Those wishing to study Computer Science and Physics must also have a Grade 7 in Mathematics
Summary For internal candidates, the online application module will be available from the School’s Website from 9 am on Tuesday 1 st December 2020. For applicants from other schools it is 3 rd November. Only Online applications will be accepted Make sure that you have all the required information to hand before you sit down to complete the form as you will not be able to save and come back to it later. Once you have submitted your application you will not be able to change it
Summary You must only apply once. Make sure that you have printed off a copy of your completed application form (or made a note of the unique reference number) and that you have received your confirmation e-mail. This is so that you can verify that your application has been submitted successfully. All online applications must be received by midnight on Sunday 3 rd January 2021. Those applying to study the EPQ will be sent a supplementary project proposal form.
