Setting The Tuck cottage is by a lake in the woods ware the Tucks take Winnie to. It is also hidden well because the Tucks are worried people will find their secret. The Touch me not cottage is a very clean, forceful, and strict house. It is also were Winnie lives at.
Characters Winnie is a big part of the story, she is the one that finds Jesse at the magical spring. Her family is rich and owns the woods. The Yellow suited man is very mysterious. He has been looking for the spring his hole life. He finds Winnie at the Tuck house and tries to take Winnie and Mae kills him.
Character study Winnie – Winnie is a young girl that is cooped up in her yard at her family’s mansion with no friends and only a toad to talk to. She thinks Jesse is the best person ever. Jesse – Jesse is a seventeen year- old boy who is happy about his never ending life. He loves Winnie and lives in the woods Winnie’s family owns.
Plot § The Tucks drink from the spring which make them invincible. § Winnie finds the spring and Jesse. § Winnie stays at the Tucks and gets more of a crush on Jesse. §The Yellow man comes to get Winnie and Mae hits him. § The Tucks get busted.
Problem Winnie is always mad that she can’t leave her house, the Tucks are always worried that someone will find their secret, and the Yellow suited man follows the Tucks were they go.
Resolution Winnie runs away, and Mae hits the Yellow suited man.
