TTDI EDIBLE GARDEN Apr 2019
Mission & Objectives: 3 R Reuse – reuse unwanted chairs, bricks, soil and wooden pallets Recycle & Composting – kitchen waste, grass clippings and dried leaves into compost; buntings and cardboard boxes are used as weed cover Reduce – reduce water consumption by using rainwater To encourage the community to grow their own food. To build a closer community amongst the participating residents. To make the garden a conducive and safe place for people to rest and relax. The produce from the garden will be shared amongst the community.

Challenges Manpower We need more participation from residents. You can commit once a week, together collectively, that will be a significant number of hours. Mr Chan, a retired police officer, tends to the garden daily. He is over 70 years old.
