New Work Items l SIM Application Toolkit test specification Ø postponed to SMG #30 l WAP WAE User Agent /SIM Toolkit interworking Ø approved; secondary responsibility with SMG 4 / T 2 l As part of SMG 9´s mandate for ETSI generic IC card standards the following two WIs were approved: Ø Generic logical and physical interface specification ðcommon platform for all ETSI IC cards (GSM, TETRA, UMTS, . . . ) ðnew applications can be built on this core to achieve interoperability ðthis will be based on 3 GPP 31. 101 Ø Specification of administrative commands and functions ðcommon set for the administrative phase of IC cards ðcurrently these features are manufacturer dependent Giesecke & Devrient 06/99; after SMG #29
