Tshepo 1 Million provides hope to young people in Gauteng who are unemployed and looking for a way to access the skills and learning that will prepare them for the world of work.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR TSHEPO 1 MILLION: � Unemployed residents of Gauteng Aged between 18 - 34 years old With at least a Grade 10 First time work seeker - no more than 12 months work experience

We intend to bring together more than 170 app and developers to exhibit on this day. The festival will allow app gurus and innovative professionals to interact and share ideas around apps with the audience. An opportunity to engage young people around technology. Drive technology as a game-changer for young people. . Live. App festival also unlocks opportunities for emerging apps to showcase in a non-threatening environment. We expect interactions between app developers and app users creating the actual feel of the app experience, with audience gaining in-depth information on how apps operate. To facilitate an interactive environment there will be live music and a variety of exciting games. The Live. App festival will form part of the Gauteng Youth Festival situated in Nasrec.

The festival will showcase the latest Apps, leisure, banking, educational, gaming, fashion, music, construction and sport to mention a few. Live. App festival will aim to have workshops, institutions with opportunities, tech start-ups to engage with youth and audiences at large who have an interest in developing apps. The Live. App experience is an African first and will create consumers that understand how to derive the best value out of the apps. Young developers, students and innovators will experience the opportunities of collaborations, potential employment and career prospects.
