Strengths and Weaknesses • You need to take some notes on each of the learning styles. Write 3 strengths and two weakness of each style.
Gold These students are organized, dependable, hard-working students. They follow the teacher’s directions and ask questions for clarification. Their work is usually accurate, factual, and consistent. They prefer conventional instructional activities. Draw an object to represent this style. Name a famous person that you think has this style.
Green These students are logical and deliberate. They learn best in a structured environment. They are knowledgeable, analytic thinkers with a clear sense of objectivity. They prefer systematic processes and are thorough in their work. Draw an object to represent this style. Name a famous person that you think has this style.
Blue These students are imaginative and idealistic. They are sensitive, compassionate students who are prone to be sentimental. They prefer flexibility and tend to be spontaneous. Orange These students are creative, adventurous, and naturally curious about the world around them. They are quick, innovative thinkers. They use their instincts and intuition when making decisions. Draw an object to represent this style. Name a famous person that you think has this style.
Homework: Show and Tell due tomorrow • Bring an item that gives us an idea of who you are/ what is important to you. • Choose something that has a story you are willing to share. • Link it to a strength or weakness of your learning style. • Make sure it is school appropriate.

Extra Activity: Ice Cream • Make a flavor of ice cream based on your personality.
Directions 1. Everyone please place your student in the classroom. 2. Use your hands to start mixing. You must do your own mixing and you must use your hands to mix. 3. You can stop whenever you want to or whenever you think you are done. 4. Do Not eat your ice cream yet.
Before you eat …reflection Hopefully you all enjoy this class as a whole as much as you enjoy ice cream…but it takes work. Look at your neighbors ice cream baggies…and your own. Are they all the same? What do the different appearances of the ice cream represent?
As you are eating • Share with the people at your table…how does your ice cream’s color and flavor represent you.
