Earning Credits and Grade Promotion Requirements ● Students earn credits by passing their classes (passing is a minimum grade of 70) ● 7 high school course credits earned in a year ● There are no meetings or discussions about moving a student to the next grade. The number of course credits earned is the sole determining factor. ● Grade Promotion Requirements: 10 th 11 th 12 th Graduation 5 credits 11 credits 17 credits 23 credits

EOC Courses ● All students must pass 8 courses with an EOC. These tests count 20% of the final grade. 9 th 10 th 11 th 12 th Algebra I Biology US History Economics 9 th Literature Geometry American Literature Advanced Biology Physical Science Honors American Literature

Dual Enrollment ● Earn college credit while satisfying high school graduation requirements ● Available to 9 th -12 th grade students ● Must pass the participating college’s required entrance exam and be admitted to the college ● Courses chosen from the approved MOWR state list ● Required meeting between the parent, student and high school counselor BEFORE course registration at the college
