Trouble With Peace John 16: 23 -33 Peace Ø Peace is not automatic; it has two conditions. This peace that Jesus gives is for Christians only – “in Him” 2. This peace comes from the words of Jesus to His followers – “I told you these things” 1.
Trouble With Peace John 16: 23 -33 Peace v What are these things? ü Jesus loves us unconditionally! ü Jesus guaranteed a personal place in heaven! ü Jesus gave all believers the indwelling of the Holy Spirit! ü Jesus gave all believers a work and a meaningful purpose! ü Jesus gave us the promise of powerful prayer and direct access to the Father. ü Most importantly, Jesus tells us He has overcome the world!
