Animals in Tropical rain Forest Animals that can be found in Tropical Rainforest are: ● ● ● Toco Toucan Linn’s Sloth Sumatran Rhinoceros Macaw Slender Loris
Animal Adaptation ● The Slender Loris has adapted to live in different habitats. They are normally found near swamps however they have adapted to live in drier areas like scrubs and semi-deciduous forest. ● Macaw have adapted because since humans are cutting down rainforest they have been getting use to being animal pets.
Plants that are found in tropical rainforest are: ● Nutmeg and Mace ● Cocoa tree ● Annatto/Lipstick tree ● Strangler Figs ● Coconut Tree
Plant Adaptation Plant adapt to the rainforest by reshaping their leaves so they don’t hold a lot of water. Also plant on the lower levels don’t see much sun or water so they hold the water in a center reservoir.
