Medical Forms – Due June 1 - BSA Annual Health and Medical Record Parts A, B, C. Copy of front/back of insurance card. - Must be signed and dated by a licensed physician no earlier than 7/24/2020. - Tentanus immunization required within last 10 years. - Scouts with anaphylatic reaction (epipens and rescue inhalers) will receive additional screening by The Summit. - Prescription and Over-The-Counter Medications - Tell us everything you need us to know (PHI is protected)
Swim Tests - We will conduct swim tests prior to departure for camp. - Swimmer Test: 75 yds strong manner (crawl, breaststroke, side stroke ) and 25 yards resting backstroke (elementary backstroke) then rest by floating. No stopping while swimming. - Beginner Test: Jump into water over the head in depth, level off, swim 25 feet, turn swim back. - Non-swimmer: no swimming needed. - Swimmer Level required for aquatic merit badges, white water rafting, paddleboarding and kayaking.
Other Important Camp Aspects - Medical Pre-Screening Prior to Attendance - 240 Staff at SBR – All Adults 18 Years or Older - Common Special dietary needs that The Summit Dining Hall accommodates: - Vegetarian - Vegan - Kosher - Halal - Gluten-Free - Peanut Allergies - Scouts < 50 lbs cannot participate in aerial and climbing activities.
