“Your Name Is Holy” Written by Brian Doerksen You are the sov’reign I Am. Your name is holy. You are the pure, spotless Lamb. Your name is holy.
You are the Almighty One. Your name is holy. You are the Christ, God’s own Son. Your name is holy.
In Your name there is mercy for sin. There is safety within in Your holy name. In Your name there is strength to remain, To stand in spite of pain, in Your holy name.
You are the sov’reign I Am. Your name is holy. You are the pure, spotless Lamb. Your name is holy.
You are the Almighty One. Your name is holy. You are the Christ, God’s own Son. Your name is holy.

Please Be Seated
“Good, Good Father” Words & Music by Patt Barrett and Anthony Brown I’ve heard a thousand stories Of what they think You’re like, But I’ve heard the tender whisper Of love in the dead of night.
You tell me that You’re pleased, And that I’m never alone.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am.
I’ve seen many searching For answers far and wide, But I know we’re all searching For answers only You provide.
‘Cause You know just What we need Before we say a word.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am.
You are perfect in all of Your ways. You are perfect in all of your ways To us.
You are perfect in all of Your ways. You are perfect in all of your ways To us.
Love so undeniable, I can hardly speak. Peace so unexplainable, I can hardly think
As You call me deeper still, As You call me deeper still Into love, love.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am.
You’re a good, good Father; It’s who You are, It’s who you are.
And I’m loved by You; It’s who I am, It’s who I am. CCLI Song #7036612 | Capitol CMG Paragon | Common Hymnal Publishing | Housefires Sounds | sixsteps Music | Tony Brown Publishing Designee | Vamos Publishing | worshiptogether. com | CCLI License #245589

We Hear from God’s Word Luke 20: 27 -40 27 There came to him [Jesus] some Sadducees, those who deny that there is a resurrection, 28 and they asked him a question, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife but no children, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. 29 Now there were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died without children. 30 And the second 31 and the third took her, and likewise all seven left no children and died. 32 Afterward the woman also died.
33 In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? For the seven had her as wife. ” 34 And Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, 35 but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, 36 for they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the bush, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. 38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him. ” 39 Then some of the scribes answered, “Teacher, you have spoken well. ” 40 For they no longer dared to ask him any question.

“More Than Conquerors” Words & Music by Rend Collective When my hope and strength is gone You’re the One who calls me on. You are the life, You are the fight That’s in my soul.
Oh, Your resurrection pow’r Burns like fire in my heart. When waters rise, I lift my eyes up to Your throne.
We are more than conquerors, Through Christ; You have overcome this world, This life.
We will not bow to sin or to shame. We are defiant in Your name. You are the fire that cannot be tamed. You are the power in our veins,
Our Lord, Our God Our Conqueror.
I will sing into the night: Christ is risen and on high. Greater is He living in me Than in the world.
No surrender, no retreat. We are free and we’re redeemed. We will declare over despair, You are the hope.
We are more than conquerors, Through Christ; You have overcome this world, This life.
We will not bow to sin or to shame. We are defiant in Your name. You are the fire that cannot be tamed. You are the power in our veins,
Our Lord, Our God Our Conqueror.
Nothing is impossible, Ev’ry chain is breakable With You we are victorious.
You are stronger than our hearts, You are greater than the dark. With You we are victorious.
Nothing is impossible, Ev’ry chain is breakable With You we are victorious.
You are stronger than our hearts, You are greater than the dark. With You we are victorious.
We are more than conquerors, Through Christ; You have overcome this world, This life.
We will not bow to sin or to shame. We are defiant in Your name. You are the fire that cannot be tamed. You are the power in our veins,

A Time of Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, And the glory Forever and ever. Amen!
A Prayer of Confession: (spoken together) Lord we come into Your presence, and into the presence of all the saints, and confess our sin. We have lived too often in the present, without regard for the generations to come, or those who have gone before. Rather than follow the great cloud of witnesses, we have sought our own way, and followed our own desires. God of grace, have mercy on us.
God’s Good News of Forgiveness: God’s promise is one of forgiveness and grace. We have witnessed His faithfulness in forgiveness from generation to generation. We receive with thankfulness the foretaste of the feast to come, the forgiveness of all our sin, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

“For All the Saints” “When the Saints Go Marching In” Text: William W. How Tune: Ralph Vaughan Williams, Jeffrey Rickard, Keith Landis For all the saints who from their labors rest, All who by faith before the world confessed, Your name, O Jesus, be forever blest. Alleluia!
You were their rock, their fortress, and their might, You, Lord, their captain in the well-fought fight; You in the darkness drear, their one true light. Alleluia!
Oh, blest communion, fellowship divine, We feebly struggle, they in glory shine; Yet all are one within Your great design. Alleluia!
The golden evening brightens in the west; Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest; Sweet is the calm of paradise the blest. Alleluia!
O when the saints go marching in O Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in.
O when the invitation comes To join the marriage feast on high O Lord I want to be in that number At the wedding feast on high.
O when the Lord in glory comes O Lord I want to be in that number When the Lord in glory comes.
