Purpose of UAT • This UAT is designed to provide internal users an opportunity to evaluate the updates made to the TRI applications in response to the new PFAS chemicals. This UAT will cover several applications including Threshold Screening Tool, TRI-MEweb, and TDX Viewer. During this PFAS UAT please provide feedback on: – Potential defects related to PFAS chemicals. – Proposed enhancements for PFAS chemicals. – Inconsistent PFAS chemical name displays and views across applications.
Schedule September 21 – September 25 PFAS User Acceptance Testing September 21, 2: 00 PM EST Testing Kick-off September 22 – September 25 Testing September 30 Review results with EPA 4
Testing Overview • All testing will be done in the Test Environment. The test scenarios will be provided via email and are available on the UAT website. • CGI staff will assist in classifying, logging, and tracking issues and enhancements. • EPA and CGI will prioritize issues that require fixes and enhancements that should be considered for future development. • If you are unable to test all of the scripts and chemicals assigned to you, please let us know as soon as possible. • When certifying forms— the last word of the question is the password answer. Ex. What is your pet’s name? Password: name 5
PFAS Updates in RY 2020 1 –Threshold Screening Tool • Added 172 Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS chemicals) for RY 2020. • Added a display name for all chemicals to support PFAS chemical names longer than 100 characters. • Added a column to categorize which chemicals are PFAS chemicals. 6
PFAS Updates in RY 2020 2 – TRI-MEweb • Added 172 Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS chemicals) for reporting beginning RY 2020. • Added a search option for PFAS chemicals specifically on the Add Form(s) modal beginning for RY 2020. • Added a display name throughout TRI-MEweb for all chemicals to support PFAS chemical names longer than 100 characters: • Chemical Form • Form Home Page • XML Upload Page • Review Forms Page • Submission History • Form Summary • Error Messages • The full chemical name will be displayed on the e. Receipt, Copy of Record, and XML. 7
PFAS Updates in RY 2020 3 – Submission Email • PFAS Chemicals with Greek characters have been added to the database. The full PFAS chemical name will be displayed in the submission confirmation email. 8
PFAS Updates in RY 2020 4 – TDX Viewer • The full PFAS chemical name will be displayed in the submission tables. 9
Reporting Issues • From any page within TRI-MEweb, select the button, which appears on the top of your screen. 10
Reporting Issues • From the pop-up, enter information regarding the issue you have found, or an enhancement you suggest. – If a screenshot of the issue is needed, please save the image and attach it to the pop-up. Enter a detailed description of the enhancement or issue. If reporting an issue, please try to include the steps that you followed to generate the issue. Attach a screenshot (if necessary). Enter your name and email in these fields. We may use this information to follow-up with you to obtain further information on any issues that you find. 11
