Parallel Lines are parallel if they lie in the same plane, and are the same distance apart over their entire length
Congruent Objects Two objects are congruent if they have the same dimensions and shape
Vertical Angles are the angles opposite each other when two lines cross.
Perpendicular Lines A line is perpendicular to another if it meets or crosses it at right angles (90°).
Sine The trigonometric function that is equal to the ratio of the side opposite a given angle (in a right triangle) to the hypotenuse.
Cosine function (Cosine function) In mathematics, the trigonometric functions (also called circular functions) are functions of an angle.
Tangent Functions (Tangent function) In mathematics, the trigonometric functions (also called circular functions) are functions of an angle.
Adjacent Being near or close, having a common boundary; adjoining; contiguous
Similarity The state or fact of being similar.
Secant The ratio of the hypotenuse to the shorter side adjacent to an acute angle (in a right-angled triangle); the reciprocal of a cosine. A straight line that cuts a curve in two or more parts.
Amplitude is directly related to the acoustic energy or intensity of a sound.
Cotangent The reciprocal of the tangent of an angle in a right triangle. The tangent of the complement of a directed angle or arc
Diameter A straight line passing from side to side through the center of a body or figure, esp. a circle or sphere.
Cosecant In a right angled triangle, the cosecant of an angle is: The length of the hypotenuse divided by the length of the opposite side. The abbreviation is csc It is not commonly used, and is equal to 1/sine
Period In place value, a period is each group of three digits separated by commas in a multidigit number.
I feel that I deserve a 95. I feel that way because I didn’t do the questions at the end. I put so much time on doing it that I feel that I did the best I could do.
