Triangles classified by their angles
• Right triangle: A right triangle is any triangle where one of the angles is exactly 90 degrees, degrees or a right angle. In a right triangle, the side opposite the right angle has to always be the longest side, and the two other angles both have to be acute.
• acute triangle: • In the acute triangle shown below, a, b and c are all acute angles.
• Obtuse triangle: Has only one obtuse angle(greater than 90 degrees). The longest side is always opposite the obtuse angle
According to the sides of triangles
• Equilateral triangle: Equilateral triangles have all three sides exactly the same length. Because their sides are the same length, the three angles of an equilateral triangle are also all the same size,
• Isosceles triangle: Isoceles triangles have at least two sides that are exactly the same length. This forces two of their angles to also be acute angles of exactly the same size.
• Scalene triangle: Has all three angles and all three sides different. . The interior angles of a scalene triangle are always all different. All three angles are different and all the sides are different lengths too.
