Class discussion- How to treat others with respect. Treating each other with respect makes your world a nicer place to live in, whether it’s at home, school or out in your community. It is easy, all you have to do is treat others the way you like to have them treat you. • As a tutor group create a list of 5 golden rules for this school to ensure that all students treat each other with respect.
Do you have any of the following Golden rules? • • • Don’t insult people or make fun of them Listen to others when they speak value other peoples’ opinions Be considerate of other peoples likes and dislikes Don’t mock or tease people Be sensitive to the way other people feel Don’t pressure others to do things they don’t want to do Celebrate other peoples’ successes Smile

Is it alright to insult or make fun of somebody f they do not hear you? • 2/. What are the most common signs of disrespect that you see in this school? • 3/. Do you have to like a person to be respectful or can you be respectful to somebody you do not particularly like? • 4/. what responsibilities do you feel you have towards the other people in your tutor group/ house/ school?
