Thursday, November 1 (block period) You will give a Power. Point*/ Google Slides presentation about a place or a person from francophone Africa. THE PRESENTATION MUST BE ENTIRELY IN FRENCH!!! A place can be a nation, a city, or a historic site. A person can be a political leader, writer, sports figure, etc. Anyone who has achieved something you consider significant. The person must have been born in francophone Africa. You must have 5 – 10 slides / pictures to illustrate your talk. You must start with the name of the person or place and define its relevance to your talk. * You may do this presentation on paper if you prefer.

The remainder can be about any aspect of the person / place which you care to speak about. Slides / pictures should be formatted as shown on the following slide. Please ask questions if you need help with this assignment. The presentation will be worth 750 points. A rubric will be distributed on Monday. Your grade will depend solely on the quality of your written and spoken French. You will not be judged on the quality of artwork or lack thereof. This presentation should be directed to the class. Your grade will be lower if you are obviously reading from your slides or notes. Part of your grade will be asking questions of your classmates.
