Transmission/Isolation-Based Precautions

Transmission-Based Precautions (A. K. A. Isolation Precautions) l Refers to actions (precautions) implemented in addition to standard precautions. l Actions that are used for residents with documented or suspected infections or colonized with infectious agents.
