. The Translation Management Committee manages the legal documentation necessary for Co. DA to maintain its intellectual property rights where translation and publication of Co. DA materials are concerned. We do not translate.

The revenues for the operation of Co. DA, Inc. come primarily from the sale of Co. DA’s copyrighted materials (66%). The Coda Board is tasked with preserving Co. DA, Inc. property. The Translation Management Committee assists the Co. DA, Inc. board in this task

Continue to update our Policies and Procedures Manual 2 x 2 with the board Anonymity Updated TMC Web Page is ready for posting on Co. DA. org

TMC responded to requests for permission to translate and/or publish Co. DA materials into a variety of languages. A Translation Agreement does not give permission to publish; and A Publication and Distribution Agreement does not give permission to translate.

Co. DA, Inc. currently has Translation Agreements and/or Publication and Distribution Agreements with the following language families.

English French Canadian German Hebrew Japanese Lithuanian Portuguese Russian Spanish Australia, Canada, United Kingdom Canada Germany Israel Japan Lithuania Portugal Russia Columbia, Spain

We are in discussion with the following language groups / countries Chinese Danish Farsi/Persian Polish Spanish China Denmark Iran Poland Guatemala, Mexico

Is your language group and/or country in the previous lists? If not, please help Co. DA, Inc. and the Translation Management Committee. Contact tmc@coda. org so that we may initiate and create legal documentation for those translations.

Short term Goals: ● Create a list containing information for the fellowship to access internationally published and distributed literature ● Ensure that all Agreements are renewed as required ● Continue to respond to requests to translate and/or publish Co. DA materials worldwide

Short term Goals (continued) ● Complete full implementation of both Translation and Publication & Distribution procedures including use by both TMC and the Board of the checklists that have been developed ● Continue to attract and train new committee members

Longer term Goals: ● Update TMC sections of the Co. DA. org website ● Create: ○Annotated Translation Agreement ○Annotated Publication & Distribution Agreement ○Annotated Copyright Assignment ● Create a document with suggestions for translators.
