Transformational Leadership is all about “transforming” your team. This is done by motivating, and enhancing both the morale and job performance of followers. In my mind, this is the ideal kind of leadership, one where you will inspire others to become both better members of the team as well as better individuals.
Idealized Influence This is all about having the ability to be an outstanding role model for members of your team. This kind of leader will display confidence and passion, and emphasize important personal values. They will connect these values to the organizational goals
Inspirational Motivation Leaders will articulate an attractive vision of the future that they are trying to get the company to. They will challenge their followers standards and expectations. This leader will provide encouragement, optimism, and purpose for what needs to be done.
Intellectual Stimulation This leader will challenge old assumptions and incite new perspectives and inventive ways of doing things. They will encourage followers to think creatively to address both current and future problems that may arise.
Individualized Consideration This leader will provide a completely supportive environment for their followers. They will be careful to listen to the needs of the team members. They will advise, coach, and teach the team in order to advance each individuals development.
