Program Overview Infrastructure: • Open Source Software was used for training program Moodle 1. 9. 11 • • • Content was adapted via XML based files. Some parts of system were translated to Turkish Language Theme which was developed by Shaun Daubney adapted to system (Many parts customized and translated to Turkish)

Certification Programs Content: Divided three components - Digitization (Certificate Program I) - Digitization and Content Management (Certificate Program II) - Digitization and Content Management & Cooperations With Europeana (Certificate Program III) Digitization Program translated to Turkish language

Content: Certificate Program I 5 Topics Translated to Turkish language Topics; 1. Introduction to Digitization 2. Digitisation equipment and software 3. Digital libraries basics 4. Building digital collections 5. Describing digital objects

Content: Certificate Program II 9 Topics Certificate Program I + 4 DRMSI topics Topics; 1. Preparing digital versions of cultural heritage objects 2. Publishing objects on-line 3. Digital library evaluation and monitoring 4. Course summary

Content: Certificate Program III 2 Courses = 12 Topics Certificate Program II (DRMSI) DRMSI & Cooperations With Europeana

Current Status There are 881 registered participants 722 participants attended to Certificate Programs 159 participants did not participate although they have registered to system Program was completed in two months (started January, completed March) Electronic certificates was sent to participants who are successful in the program
