Site Development Process Developing a custom website all starts with the proper needs analysis. Once we understand your goals and strategy, we can recommend the best course of action and which site is right for you. The following details a typical 4 -6 week Launch cycle from kick off to completion. Custom designed, larger site launch timelines vary based on complexity of the job. 1. Initial Phone Meeting– Discuss design direction, and begin collection of logo, copy, artwork, photos to build your site. Once we have this info, the site build can begin. 2. First Design Draft – Within 10 -14 business days, you’ll see first draft. If we are on track and you approve, we begin adding content to the site. If changes are needed, you’ll see another draft within 7 -10 business days. Further drafts may incur an extra charge. 3. Working Site Proof – 7– 10 business days from approval of design draft, we’ll show you a live example of your site with uploaded content on our development servers. If approved, we’ll go to final launch stage, making any final tweaks and/or copy changes. 4. Final Draft – Within 3– 5 business days you’ll see the final site for one last approval before it goes live. 5. Go Live! - With final approval, we’ll make the website live, which can take up to 5 days for any final changes and to propagate across the web.
