Pre-Event Responsibilities Trainers provide requirements for facilities including hardware and software to be loaded on participant laptops or workstations. CEE-BP provides liaison with local IT representatives for any software installation required in lab facilities for CEEBP sponsored events. Event sponsor provides local information and for in-person training provides logistics (parking, requirements to enter facility) and for CEE-BP events catering contacts as needed. Training Manager creates the event to include location; opening and closing of registration period; agenda, event contact; class size; et al. ) Event sponsors promote (Inside XSEDE; mailing lists; et al. ) Trainers or ESTEO Manager obtains education allocation for hands-on activities Training Manager add registered users to the education allocation Trainer or ESTEO Manager makes reservation(s) CEE-BP provides email one week prior to event to all participants that include logistics, instructions on two-factor authentication implementation, and installation of globus person endpoint and other software on personal laptops. CEE-Education (Cahill) creates page for event materials and provides link to trainers and evaluation. Evaluation provides session and event feedback survey links and for CEE-BP events certificate of participation if requested upon completed survey.
Event Responsibilities CEE-BP and Trainers verity lab rooms setup with local IT staff. CEE-BP provides sign in table for event. Sign in sheets for each session. Trainers take attendance provide to training manager Trainers open their session with code of conduct statement, and allow 5 minutes at end for completing the session survey Proctors assist with hands-on activities and help answer questions. Trainers attend the post-mortem call to review survey feedback and discuss issues, recommendations for improvement. Training Manager marks attendance in the training registration system.
Post Event Responsibilities CEE-BP facilitate post-mortem call with event sponsor. Evaluation provide summary of feedback. Trainers provide their final slides and materials to Kate Cahill for archiving on the event page at HPCUniversity.
