Background ● For my project I will be focusing on the crashes in Fairfax county ○ ● ● Crashes that involved Alcohol, Fatalities because of Alcohol, Pedestrian injuries and fatalities, and more I choose Fairfax because I have lived here for most of my life and I believe some of the worst drivers in the world live here. Already having that assumption I wanted to see how many accidents we actually get into.
Data used ● ● ● The data I used was already provided by Arc. Gis. All I needed to do was access it with Add Data and then dividing up all the unique details by using Select by Attributes It was called FFCO Crash Data 2011 -2017 but I cut it to 2017 only. Challenges ● I did not have any challenges trying to find data for my project.
Study Area For my project the study area is the county of Fairfax. The projection that I used was NAD 1983 (2011) State. Plane Virginia North FIPS 4501 (US Feet)_1
