1. General Meetings (GM) The General meetings bring together all the members of the

1. General Meetings (GM) The General meetings bring together all the members of the Network and are aimed at setting the overall agenda for its work. Composition: All active members of the TUDCN- including regional organisations and their national affiliates (max 5). Periodicity: One meeting per year.

2. Open Coordination Meetings (OCM) Open Coordination meetings will be held in between General Meetings to ensure coordination and follow-up of the TUDCN action plans decided by the GM. Composition: 3 representatives per region (Americas, AP, Africa), 1 GUF representative, the TUDCN secretariat. Open to all interested members of the Network. Periodicity: One meeting per year.

Steering Group (SG) The steering group will prepare TUDCN meetings, oversee the work of the TUDCN secretariat, ensure monitoring and evaluation of the work and assess regularly the financial and administrative situation of the Network. Composition: 5 representatives for the regions (Americas, AP, Africa and Europe), 1 GUF representative, the TUDCN secretariat. Periodicity: One or two meetings per year (conference call or face to face).

WORKING GROUP ON EU Area of Work - EU development policies and advocacy Participation requirements for TUDCN members Contribute to trade union policy positions. Take part in advocacy work at national level. Share information on initiatives related to this area. Availability to take part as trade union representatives in related events. Main Activities - Influencing EU (PFD, European Parliament, EESC, EC) development policy-making. Sharing information on national initiatives. Making trade union policy contributions to government negotiations. - WORKING GROUP ON TRADE UNION PARTNERSHIPS AND JOINT INITIATIVES Participation requirements for TUDCN members Working on Organisational Capacity Share information. Assessment Frameworks. Sharing information on trade union partnerships, trade union cooperation initiatives and working methods. Fostering joint trade union initiatives. Thematic Seminars Thematic or training seminars can be organised in order to enlarge the level playing field within the trade union organisations, create capacity or study and exchange on trade union development cooperation related issues. They should be used to support on-line work streams when appropriate. Composition: All TUDCN members interested in participating. Periodicity: When necessary.
