Travel Arrangements Meet in the Hall at 8. 55 am on Monday 11 th September Bus leaves school at 9. 30 am Arrive at Drumlanrig Castle at 11. 00 am. Please bring a packed lunch for this. Leave Drumlanrig at 1 pm Arrive at Lockerbie 2. 00 pm Depart Lockerbie at between 1 -1. 30 pm on Friday. Arrive back at school at approx 3 pm. Mrs Mc. Gowan will up date the website on arrival and departure.

Lockerbie Activities We have 19 different activity sessions to complete during our time at Lockerbie: These are: Canoe / Kayak (double session), Zip Wire, Rifle Shooting, Abseiling, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, Archery, Blind Trail, Obstacle Course, Climbing, Manor Olympics, Orienteering, Scavanger Hunt, Evening Walk, Fencing and a Disco!
Clothing Involve children in packing Clothing for activities: Old clothes and trainers ( 2 pairs for outside) Warm and loose-fitting – NOT JEANS, NO WELLIES Waterproof jacket Gloves/hat/socks Clothing for around the centre: Comfortable and warm Indoor footwear (slippers, soft shoes, indoor trainers) Nightwear All items labelled Remember underwear A plastic bag would be useful for dirty/wet clothing THE INSTRUCTORS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO TAKE PART IN ANY ACTIVITY WITHOUT A WARM JACKET WITH A HOOD!
Toiletries / Additional Items • Sleeping bag and pillow case • Toiletries - toothpaste/ toothbrush/soap Towels Plastic bags Water bottle Spending Money – max £ 10 – in an envelope, purse or wallet with your name. NO MOBILE PHONES/ ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Meals Wide variety of hot cooked meals during the week. Special diet or allergies will be catered for. Tuck Shop available if needed – Please ensure your child knows how much they can spend.
Dorms In the main house – groups of 4, 6, 8 Children responsible for keeping tidy Daily inspections Lights out by 9. 30 pm Shower daily – morning or evening. Ensuite Bathrooms Remember PILLOW case and SLEEPING BAG.
Medication / Allergies Medical information form to be completed. Medication should be labelled clearly Dosage Time to be taken Name School staff to administer Medication to be given to staff on Friday 8 th September from 2. 00 pm-3. 00 pm
