Town of Prešov
In our town we have got many pubs and clubs and every person can find, which is the best place to go and have fun. The most visited pubs by very young teenagers are Fischer, Šiša pub, Štýl and Ester rock club. But many people don´t like these pubs, because young teenagers go there just to get drunk.
When you want to listen to some good music, you should go to Cafe behind 7 windows, Christiania, Wave, Bunker music pub or City club. It´s a good idea to go there, because town of Prešov is also called SLOVAK SEATTLE.
In Prešov there are many kinds of restaurants. For example chinese, italian, vegetarian, slovak cuisine, mexican and if you want to eat delicious pizza so there´s La Cucaracha for you.
The most popular band is Heľenine oči. However, we have a lot of other bands like Chiki liki tua, Komajota, Atlantída, IMT Smile and so on.
The Alexander Duchnovič Theatre is the only Slovak theatre providing plays in the Rusyn language. The most popular theatre in Prešov is Theatre of Jonáš Záborský. We have got the new building and the old building of this theatre.
The best place to go when it´s raining or when you can´t be out is the only shopping center in Prešov called Max which is situated in Sekčov. There are brand stores and the only cinema complex in Prešov.
We don´t have a lot of swimming pools here in Prešov. The one is very expensive (Plaza Beach), the other isn´t very hygienic (Sídlisko lll. ). We´ve got a nature swimming pool called Delňa. Every year there ´s a Good festival. However, almost everybody goes to one of these swimming pools.
