A place of carrying out of practice, equipment. • - Dept. of Microbiology -to conduct practical exercises: a set of dyes used in staining bacteria -microscopes, pipettes, test tubes, spirit lamps, slides, tripods. culture of microbes grown on nutrient medium, -gun new information technology, equipment demonstrations, slides, videos. • -TCB: Projector, slide, television, video.
Duration of employment • - 4 hours (class periods) 180 minutes
The employment purpose • - acquaintance with microbiological methods of research of water. • - acquaintance with water investigation phases. • - acquaintance with coli titer and coli index of water. • - acquaintance with biological values of microflora of water. • - to give an assessment of a sanitary condition of water.
Task of teaching • To acquaint with microbiological methods of research of water, water investigation phases, to asses a sanitary condition of water.
Tasks • Student should know: • - methods of sanitary and microbiological research of water. • - water investigation phases. • - calculation of coli titer and coli-index. • - biological value of microflora of water. • - to give an assessment of a sanitary condition of water. • - sanitary indicators of bacteria waters applied at an assessment.

Has to be able to oversow from Endo's circle on Eykman's circle. • 4. Has to be able to calculate and give an assessment coli titer and coli-index. • 5. Has to know biological value of microflora of water. • 6. Has to be able to give an assessment of a sanitary condition of water. • 7. Has to be able to use Barson's table. • 8. Has to be able to give an assessment to a nutrient medium on availability of dregs and gas.
