Creating an Account • www. spartan-net. com/subscribe – Create an Account or Continue your Order • Create an account – New users will enter their information • Name • Contact • Location – Verify registration via e-mail • Simply click the link in the confirmation email • Link directs them to Step 1 in the order process
1. Account Profile • Additional contact information – Preferred method of communication • Security question • Lease information – Lease type collected – Lease begin & end date • Additional Occupants – Roommate information: Name, Phone, Email, Relationship – Option to set authorized users – Option to notify occupant of the order
Authorized v. Non-authorized Users • Authorized Users – Have access to billing – Ability to add, upgrade, or remove services – May additional users – May register devices – Have access to tickets – Has the ability to Adjust the order • Non-authorized Users – May register devices – Have access to tickets
2. Select Services • Service options automatically display what is offered at the user’s particular community or Unit – Included as an amenity v. an additional lease fee – Sold as the Technology Package or A la carte – Correct base channel package displayed • Ex. Family, Entertainment, Choice + HBO • If DIRECTV is selected, the user will be required to tell us how many TVs will require programming • If Internet only is chosen the user will move forward to Step 5 in the order process
3. DIRECTV Receivers • User is able to choose which type of receivers they would like • Features, terms, promotions, & pricing are clearly explained – Pop ups describe receiver capabilities, service fees, 12 month commitments for premium receivers, and promotional discounts for new DIRECTV customers • Charges are broken down to explain bill – Base package: paid to leasing office – Monthly DIRECTV Bill: estimate of DIRECTV monthly charges – Due at Checkout: one-time payment
4. DIRECTV Programming • User has the option to add on channels for the full DIRECTV experience – Pop ups show all channels included in each particular package • Base package upgrades • Premium movie and sports channels • International packages • Charges are shown in the billing breakdown as programming upgrades are added to their order
5. Additional Equipment • Residents have the convenience of ordering additional equipment from Spartan-Net, instead of going to another store • Wi-Fi routers, Ethernet cords, Switches, Coax cables, RF remotes, etc
6. 7. Service Agreements • All necessary legal documents that apply to the order may be signed online – Lease Addendum – Subscriber Agreement – DIRECTV MDU Agreement • User must agree to the documents in order to proceed • User has access to all legal documents through My Account at www. spartan-net. com
8. Schedule Pick Up • User may choose a date to either pick up their ready equipment at our office or schedule an installation appointment – Installation appointments will be extremely limited or unavailable during changeover • Pick Up – Equipment will be ready for pick up as soon as the following business day • Installation – An appointment with a two hour window may be set for a technician to set up equipment • Ex. The tech will arrive between 10: 00 am-12: 00 pm
9. Make Your Payment • Checkout summary details that charges that are due for immediate payment – Ex. Receiver fees, activation fee, routers, installation fees etc. • Credit card payment information • Credit card billing address
Order Submitted • User will receive an order confirmation number • The order will be submitted to the Spartan-Net team for processing
